LA VERNE, Calif. — The University of La Verne softball team's doublehader against Chapman will start at 1:30 p.m.
Overnight and early morning rain had rendered the field unplayable in the morning but the conditions have improved.
The Leopards can automatically clinch the 2016 SCIAC Championship with a sweep or a split. La Verne can drop both and still win a share of the championship if Claremont-Mudd-Scripps also loses both games today.
