Angelina Staumont was named Athletics Operations Manager in June of 2017.

Staumont has been an essential part of the La Verne’s Athletics Department. In her role, she is responsible for day-to-day oversight of athletics events, intramural sports and all aspects of game day operations. She is the direct report for game day procedures at ULV, pertaining to all game day related activities at ULV’s multiple facilities, fan and community engagement, as well as assisting the Director of Facilities and the Director of Communications who together, service all of ULV’s athletic teams. Previously, during Staumont’s first three years at ULV, she oversaw all aspects of game management for all 18 Leopards’ programs as well as intramural sports.

Staumont has transformed athletics operations and events and continues to find ways to enhance the student-athlete as well as fan experience at La Verne. Angelina hopes to continue building relationships with organizations and departments across campus and the local community to increase support at all home athletic contests and across Leopard Athletics.

Staumont additionally is responsible for all aspects pertaining to hosting SCIAC and NCAA postseason events. She has served as the tournament director, directing all aspects of postseason operations, for the following events:

*2017 SCIAC Softball Postseason Tournament
*2017 SCIAC Women’s Water Polo Tournament
*2017 SCIAC Volleyball Postseason Tournament
*2018 SCIAC Softball Postseason Tournament
*2018 SCIAC Baseball Postseason Tournament 

Prior to her position as the Athletics Operations Manager, Staumont served as the Graduate Assistant for Events and Intramural Sports at ULV. Shortly into her new position, Staumont was promoted to the Interim Coordinator of Events and Intramural Sports before she was hired on full time in June of 2017.

Staumont earned her master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing at the University of La Verne in 2018. She is currently working towards her doctorate in Organizational Leadership where she strives to continue her professional and personal development.

A former collegiate athlete herself, Staumont competed on both the Track & Field and Women’s Basketball teams for the University of La Verne where she was a key component in the 2013 Women’s Track and Field Championship Team. Staumont graduated from ULV with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and a minor in biology.
