Kelsie Sievers had an outstanding opening weekend for the Leopards. In the season opener, the senior knocked down nine kills in a 3-1 upset win over No. 9 Southwestern. In a tough loss against No. 6 Johnson & Wales, Siever totaled a career-high 20 kills in the match. She also added 13 kills in a 3-1 win over Franklin & Marshall off .5000 hitting and 11 kills in a loss to Salisbury. Sievers finished the weekend with 53 kills, six blocks, nine digs and earned a spot on the Pacific Coast Classic All-Tournament team.
