Previously, Grajeda served as Recruiting Coordinator for Saddleback College, where he helped the Gauchos win a 2004 California Community College State Championship.

Grajeda brings a wealth of coaching experience in Southern California.

Prior to joining the Winterburn's staff, Grajeda was the Interim Head Baseball Coach at San Diego Christian College in 2013. The Hawks placed third in the Golden State Athletic Conference and reached the postseason for the first time in school history with a 39-20 record, making the GSAC Tournament and reaching the championship game of the NAIA Santa Clarita Regional. The Hawks posted a fielding percentage of .972, good for third in the NAIA.

Grajeda also served as head coach at Vanguard University of Southern California from 2009-2012, during which he resurrected a struggling Lion program. In his second season in 2010 Vanguard started the season 15-1 before finishing with a 34-20 record. Vanguard debuted in the NAIA Top 25 that season at No. 6 and remained highly ranked for most of the season, reaching the semifinals of the 2010 NAIA Riverside Regional hosted by No. 3 Cal Baptist. Grajeda guided VUSC into the postseason for the first time since 2002 and into the National Tournament for the first time since 1985.

In five years as a head coach, Grajeda owns a 137-115 overall record and has produced one Capital One Academic All-District Team member; nine GSAC Scholar Athletes; two GSAC Gold Glove Award Winners; six All-GSAC selections; two MLB draftees and two MLB free agents. He also has had six players sign to play independent baseball and has coached one GSAC batting champion.

Grajeda earned his BS in Physical Education from Cal State San Bernardino in 1995 and M.Ed. in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University in 2002. Grajeda resides in Redlands and is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) member.
