University of La Verne assistant football coach Richard Worsell recently had an article published in the latest issue of Gridiron Strategies Magazine.
Worsell's article, "The Quick Passing Game Made Easy: The 3-Step Boot Game" in the June/July 2012 issue of Gridiron Strategies. The article focuses on implementation of the 3-Step Boot System and how it involves each player on the offense.
Coach Worsell is entering his second season as the Leopards' offensive coordinator. Last year, La Verne was among the SCIAC conference leaders in several major statistical categories, including total offense, passing efficiency and red zone offense. La Verne, which had won four games in the previous four seasons, equalled that total in 2011.
