LA VERNE, CA — Arturo Herrera-Caballero has been named the SCIAC Football Specialist of the Week the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Monday.
The punter picks up the honor after his effectiveness in the field position game for the Leopards. The sophomore averaged 42 yards a kick and booted a career-long 69 yarder in the second quarter and a 66 yarder in the fourth.
The Corona native had four punts of at least 40 yards.
Next Game
The Leopards are back in action this Saturday when they host Willamette at 1 p.m.
