Kamakawiwoole Named SCIAC Athlete of the Week

LA VERNE, CA — Kapena Kamakawiwoole has been named SCIAC Football Specialist of the Week the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced.

Kamakawiwoole was perfect in the Leopards' 42-0 win over Whittier on Saturday. The freshman made all four PAT attempts and booted the ball on seven kickoffs averaging an impressive 56 yards a kick.

The Leopards return to action this Saturday when they travel to Chapman for a 7 p.m. non-conference matchup.
