JURUPA VALLEY, CA — Zane Mularski led the University of La Verne men's golf team against of host of NCAA Division I schools at the Cal Baptist Joust hosted at Goose Creek Golf Club.
Mularski tied for 59th place after carding an impressive 73 in round one and following it up with a 76 in round two. The freshman carded an 83 in round two to finish with a score of 232. Mularski finished at the top Leopard for the second tournament in a row after leading La Verne at the Tukwet Preview.
Pitiluk Phanomchai and Jake Littlejohn tied for 70th place with scores of 237. The pair each shot their best rounds their first time out, finishing with a 75 and 76 respectively.
Michael Ordona finished a stroke behind the pair with a 238 in 75th place and Connor Dunlop rounded out the group with a 241.

The Leopards play their SCIAC opener their next time on the course On Saturday, February 29 and March 1 at the Tukwet Canyon Champions in Beaumont, CA.
