The University of La Verne men's soccer team (5-1, 3-1 SCIAC) continued their winning streak Saturday at home against Chapman University. 

The Leopards and Panthers battled back and forth until the second half when La Verne's offense took control. Chapman took the lead at the 61-minute mark 0-1, but the Leopards answered with a goal of their own three minutes later. La Verne utilized the gained momentum and scored two additional goals to lead 3-1.

Chapman attempted 4 more shots on goal before being struck down by another Leopard goal by freshman forward Nathan Gonzalez (2^nd of the night). The Leopards finished out the match 4-1 with an impressive 22 total shots on goal.

The Leopards take on rival school Cal Lutheran (5-1-1, 3-0-1 SCIAC) in Thousand Oaks on Monday September 23 at 7:00pm.
