Laguna Niguel, CA - The SCIAC announced postseason awards for men's soccer today. The University of LA Verne had four Leopards that were named Second Team All-SCIAC.
Goalkeeper Matthew Logan Reese, defender Oscar Mendoza, midfielder Joel Trejo, and midfielder Owen Osaga were all named Second Team All SCIAC. Owen Osagiede, a senior scored 11 points during conference play. Joel Trejo a sophomore scored 8 points during SCIAC play. Oscar Mendoza and Matthew Logan Reese were both vital pieces to the success of the team on the defensive side of the field, as Logan Reese had 78 saves during conference play.
The SCIAC Tournament begins with the First Round today, Tuesday, Nov. 1 with #6 La Verne visiting #3 Pomona-Pitzer. The match starts at 2:30 pm
