About The Program

The new era of La Verne men's soccer looks to build on a proud and winning tradition. 

History has proved kind as the Leopards enjoyed a streak of 27 consecutive winning seasons, a string that lasted into the 1990s. They achieved back-to-back SCIAC championships during this era. The philosophy of the coaching staff is to first maintain the high standards of a La Verne student-athlete, which is a strong commitment to the classroom in addition to the soccer field through hard work and dedication.

From 2005 to 2008, the Leopards finished second in three of the four seasons and earned consecutive trips to the SCIAC Postseason Tournament in 2007 and 2008.

The team objective is based on team discipline and enjoyment of the game at the same time. The squad focuses on conditioning to play to a style of play which features constant ball movement. The coaching staff is dedicated to make La Verne a top contender every year where ULV is fighting for the conference title. The coaching staff will also strive to emphasize teamwork and goal setting as a benchmark to build a stronger soccer family at La Verne.

The Leopard soccer program is on the rise and is building toward be one of the top of the SCIAC standings. The players bring a passion and style that has become a trademark of La Verne soccer. The coaching staff has set a goal to achieve a respectable overall record, particularly in SCIAC play. The Leopards are striving to keep a winning team attitude and positive energy during play.
