The championships will be held May 24-26 at the Veteran's Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin and are hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Ambat qualified in the long jump with a leap of 7.21m (23-8). The junior, who qualifies for the NCAA Championships for the first time in his career, is peaking at the right time. He's broken his own record in the event twice in the last week. He first bested his previous record at the Azusa Pacific Twilight Duals when he lept 22-10. He then broke it again just last Thursday at the Redlands Last Qualifier Meet when he beat his previous mark by 10 inches at 23-8. Ambat heads into the meet ranked 20th.

Lee Kim qualifies in the 100m hurdles for the second straight season. The senior, who was recently named La Verne's Jesse Iles Scafani Female Athlete of the Year, has continually broken her school record in the event the past two seasons. Lee Kim came into the season owning the record with a time of 14.54 and broke it at the Redlands Invite on March 16 when she clocked in at 14.45. She broke it again at the SCIAC Championships in what ended up being her qualifying time at 14.34. Lee Kim heads into the event ranked 12th.
