La Verne, California - The University of La Verne track and field team is continuing to peak as the season is reaching its final stretch. Many Leopards have seen the fruits of the labor, as they have set many personal records and school records. Freshman Temesgen Kflom Herhe blasted the school record books and his personal records with his performance at the Bryan Clay Invitational. Berhe set records in the 10K with a personal best of 29:56.46., which was also a University of La Verne school record. He is currently ranked #16 on NCAA Division III list. Sophomore Zachary Reid, finished second in the 110m High Hurdles with a time of 14.66, a top Top Division III Finisher.
