La Verne faced Whittier College in their second matchup of the day. The Leopards went up 1-0 with only a few seconds elapsed on the clock after a goal by junior utility Jonathon Jarvis. Whittier retaliated with a goal moments later to tie the score. Sophomore attacker Bryan Jimenez scored 2 goals (5 goals on the day) for the Leopards but La Verne was unable to garner the win, losing 7-13.
On Saturday, the Leopards competed against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps for the second time this season. La Verne found themselves evenly matched with CMS until the third period when the Staghens posted 5 goals to the Leopards' 1. Unable to rally, the Leopards finished out the game 5-12. La Verne goalkeeper Daniel Newell provided the Leopards with 6 saves on the day.
The Leopards faced off against University of Redlands for the final match of the tournament. As the game progressed La Verne grew in strength - adding at least one goal each period. But the fierce Bulldog offense put up 6 goals in the third period which concluded the match in their favor. La Verne 10 Redlands 17.
