WHITTIER- The University of La Verne men's water polo team lost a 16-7 decision to Whittier College Wednesday evening.
The Leo offense stalled in the first two quarters with only a single goal before tallying six scores in the last half of the match.
Sophomore attacker Bryan Jimenez collected a team-high three goals.
La Verne will return to action Saturday afternoon at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Game time is 11 a.m.
