LA VERNE, Calif. — Rey Julian Castillo has been named Second Team All-SCIAC the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Thursday.
Castillo was a force for the Leopards all season. The senior led the Leopards with 78 goals including 49 in SCIAC play. He scored at least three goals in 17 games and notched four or more goals in 10 games.
The Puerto Rico native also led La Verne with 33 steals, 32 drawn exclusions, and tied for the team lead with 24 assists.
Castillo earned All-SCIAC recognition in both his seasons as a Leopard. Last year he was named SCIAC Newcomer of the Year and Second Team All-SCIAC.
Goalie Mason Fox was named to the SCIAC All-Sportsmanship team.
