Haylee Hsieh helped pace La Verne in a 3-2 week for the Leopards which featured a 3-0 win and a 5-3 loss to Brandeis, and a SCIAC series win over Pomona-Pitzer (wins of 8-4 and 10-5, and a 9-4 loss). Hsieh hit .471 over the five games (.500 against the Sagehens), with eight runs scored, a triple, an RBI, and three walks. Where she also made a huge impact for La Verne was on the basepaths, registering seven steals, including two in each of the games against Pomona-Pitzer.
