Swim and Dive dominates Brooklyn

LA VERNE, CA — The University of La Verne swimming and diving teams took a break from SCIAC action to host Brooklyn College in a nonconference meet Wednesday afternoon. The Leopards dominated the competition winning all but one event in the meet.

Women's Event Winners

400 yard medley relay - 4:48.09 (Ashley Meza, Kirsten Knobloch, Samantha Szok, Carissa Martinez)

Rachel Fox - 200 yard freestyle (2:05.80)

Next Meet

The Leopards will next celebrate the 20th Anniversary of La Verne Aquatics when they host their alumni meet on Sunday, January 27. La Verne will get back to SCIAC action on Saturday, February 2 when they compete against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Cal Luthern at Axelrod Pool on the campus of Claremont McKenna College. Diving will begin at 10 a.m. with swimming to take place at 11 a.m.
