Monica Garcia Silva led the Leopards to three wins over the break scoring 20.8 points per game and grabbing 10.8 rebounds per game during the five-game stretch. She opened up the break with a game-high 28 points in a win over Northern New Mexico shooting an incredible 70.6 percent from the field. That game started a streak of three-straight 20 plus points games as she scored 26 in a win over Sul Ross State and 20 in a close loss to UC Merced. The junior finished with two double-doubles during the stretch, grabbing 12 boards against UC Merced and finishing with 24 points and 15 rebounds against Pomona-Pitzer. She nearly picked up two more double-doubles after racking up nine rebounds against Northern New Mexico and eight against Sul Ross State. Garcia Silva finished the break with 104 points, 54 rebounds, 12 steals, and 10 assists.
