Junior Chiara Brown Named SCIAC Offensive Athlete Of The Week

Laguna Niguel, CA - University of La Verne junior women's basketball player Chiara Brown was named the SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week for the week of December 5th.

Brown scored 22.5 points per contest in a pair of SCIAC-opening victories for the University of La Verne, hitting 47 percent of her shots and dishing out four assists to go with nine rebounds, two steals and a block. Her 29-point outburst in a 69-60 win at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges was her first 20-point effort of the season.
