Dejanee Gill Named SCIAC Defensive Athlete Of The Week

Laguna Niguel, CA - University of La Verne women's basketball guard Dejanee Gill has been named the SCIAC Defensive Athlete Of The Week.

Gill was a lockdown presence on defense as No. 21/RV University of La Verne remained unbeaten in Division III with double-digit wins over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges and at Chapman University. She notched a double-double with 10 points and 16 rebounds against the Athenas before adding two blocks and a steal versus the Panthers with an 8:3 assist-to-turnover ratio over the pair of games.
