THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Kirsten Contreras led the University of La Verne women's golf team at the Regals Invitational at Sunset Hills Country Club.
Contreras finished in 26th after opening the tournament shooting an 82 and shooting an 89 in the second round.
Morgan Malloy had the next best finish for the Leopards, shooting 88 the first time out and closing the invite with a 92.
Alexi Gonzalez shot a 98 in the first round and a 96 in round two.
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps won the team competition.
Next Round: La Verne competes next at the Lady Bulldog Classic at Indian Springs Golf Club in Indio beginning on March 26.
