LA VERNE, Calif. — The University of La Verne women's soccer team announced the addition of 10 newcomers, head coach Lauryn Pehanich announced on Monday.

Why La Verne? "I chose La Verne because I loved the sense of community I felt when I stepped on the campus. I enjoyed that the school wasn't very big and the small student to faculty ratio. The idea of getting a quality education and being able to play soccer at the same time made my decision to come to La Verne an easy choice."
