ORANGE, Calif. — The University of La Verne women's soccer team ended their season Saturday afternoon in a 6-2 loss against the Chapman Panthers.
The Leopards ended the season with a 9-6-3 overall record and a 5-6-3 SCIAC record.
Anna Ottley and Mila Ladek each scored goals for La Verne.
The Leopards fell behind early in the match at Chapman's Lara Jacobson scored in the third minute of the match. Chapman added two more goals early in the second half to go up 3-0.
Ottley got the Leopards on the board just over 56 minutes into the game.
But the Panthers responded with another goal of their own to go back up by three.
Ladek headed in La Verne's second goal in the 80 minute off an assist by Katherine Obregon.
Chapman added two goals late.
