THOUSAND OAKS, CA — Juna Bouchekara connected with Cambria Smith to get the Leopards on the board in the 54th minute, but that was all the scoring La Verne could muster, falling on the road to Cal Lutheran 5-1.
Smith got off five shots in the match with three coming on goal. Mia Trugerro and Andrea Story each added a shot on goal.

The Leopards fall to 0-4-1 on the season and 0-3 in SCIAC play. Cal Lutheran improves to 3-0-2 overall and 2-0-1 in the conference.
