LA VERNE, CA — Alina Cobian has been tabbed Second Team All-SCIAC the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Thursday.
It is the second All-SCIAC award for the senior. In 2017, Cobian picked up First Team All-SCIAC honors and Third Team All-West Region accolades. Cobian led the Leopards with three goals this season, her most noteworthy coming in La Verne's final home game of the season when she booted in the game-winner to defeat Redlands 1-0.
Cobian, who spent most of her career as a defender, finished her Leopard career with six goals and three assists and started in 57 of the 62 games in which she appeared.
