Leopards And Tigers Clash For The Second TIE-ME This Season

Los Angeles, CA - The University of La Verne women's soccer team traveled to Los Angeles, California to take on Occidental College in a weekend SCIAC contest.

These two teams battled for the second time this month in conference competition. The meeting between both teams on October 1st ended in a 2-2 tie. Today's contest would mirror the meeting twenty-one days ago.

A scoreless first half set up the scene for what could have potentially been a contest that came down to the wire. The Leopards attempted three shots in the first half while the tigers attempted five shots in the half but neither team would score.

Second-half action would see La Verne attempt five shots while Occidental attempted seven shots but neither team would score, as the clock hit zero with both teams tied at zero, with the final score being 0-0.

Leopard Abigail Macedo had 8 saves in the game.

The Leopards return home for their final home game of the season and Senior Night on October 26th against Cal Lutheran. The game starts at 7:00 PM.
