Bridget Etchegaray named Second Team All-SCIAC

PASADENA — Bridget Etchegaray of the University of La Verne tennis team was named to Second Team All-SCIAC, the conference announcd on Friday. This is Etchegaray's second all-conference honor.

The 2015 All-American took over the top spots on La Verne's lineup after the departures of some of the best players in program history and filled the role admirably.

She went 4-6 in conference singles play and 5-5 in doubles as the Leopards finished fifth in the SCIAC.

Caroline Ward of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps was named the Athlete of the Year, Caroline Casper of Pomona-Pitzer was named the Newcomer of the Years and the Sagehens' Ann Lebedoff was named the Coach of the Year.
