LOS ANGELES — Melissa Cerrillos broke the La Verne record in the 800 meters with a time of 2 minutes, 16.26 seconds to highlight the Leopards' performances at the Occidental Invitational on Saturday.

Ebony Turner jumped 1.55 meters (5 feet, 1 inch) in the high jump, just missing her personal best mark.

Taylor Schulze cleared 3.30 meters (10-10.00) in the pole vault and Micaela Krumweide recorded a leap of 10.64m (34-11.00) in the triple jump.

The Leopards wrap up their regular season and return to action on May 26-28 at the NCAA National Championships in Waverly, Iowa.
