La Verne, California - The University of La Verne track and field teams had another record setting weekend competing in two different meets. The Combined Event athletes were in Santa Barbara on Thursday and Friday, and the majority of the team were at Point Loma Nazarene on Saturday in competition. The Leopards continued its rewriting of the University of La Verne All Time lists and the team continued to put up marks that rank in the top 50 on the NCAA DIII National performance list.
There were fourteen personal or seasonal bests for the the Leopards as they are continuing their path through March and into the championships in April and May. To go along with the top marks, two of those marks impacted the University of La Verne all time lists with Vera Juncaj putting herself on the list in the Heptathlon and Mira Juncaj putting herself on the ULV top list in her first collegiate race in the 100m Hurdles.
