LA VERNE, Calif. — Connor Davis and Jassmine Kezman have been named SCIAC Athletes of the Week the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced Monday.
Kezman had a huge week for the La Verne women's water polo team finishing with eight goals after a pair of games. She started the week scoring four goals, including three in the second half in a 10-6 win over Whittier. She also added two assists and two steals. The freshman added another four-goal performance at CMS. She scored three times in the fourth quarter to erase a three-goal deficit early in the period.
Davis led the men's golf team at the Las Vegas Desert Classic tying for 38th overall in a field of top DII and DIII golfers. After shooting a 75 in the opening round, Davis posted the best individual round performance for the Leopards the second time out, shooting a 71. Davis finished with a three-round score of 228.
