Eight Leopards named ACWPC All-Academic

BRIDGEPORT, PA — Eight members of the University of La Verne women's water polo team earned 2019 Women's All-Academic Awards the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announced.

The award breaks recipients down into three categories: Outstanding (4.0 - 3.71 GPA), Superior (3.70 - 3.41 GPA), and Excellent (3.40-3.20 GPA).

The Leopards had an outstanding 2019 campaign in the pool as well, ending the season 9-5 in conference play with a spot in the SCIAC Postseason Tournament.
