Women's volleyball drops fourth SCIAC match

ORANGE, Calif — Women's volleyball dropped  their fourth SCIAC match in four sets, 3-1 — 25-23, 20-25, 21-25, 12-25 — on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at home.

The Panthers jumped out to a 1-0 lead after Julin Kenison collected four kills in set one. Cat Helgeson was also great in that set adding five of her 17 digs on the night. Maddy Dowdall also provided a strong presence in the middle with two solo blocks and one assist.

Her and Marly Johnson finished with four block assists apiece, and Dowdall had three solos.

The final three weren't as kind to the Panthers, as the team hit .033 on the evening, and -.086 in the final set, but Julin Kenison led the way with 12 kills. 

Chapman will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 30. The squad will travel to Redlands to take on the Bulldogs at 7 pm.
