Women's Basketball

Eloisa Smith is entering her fourth season on the University of La Verne women’s basketball coaching staff. Coach Smith will serve as the JV Head Coach and will assist with the varsity program.

Coach Smith has been around basketball her entire life. With over two decades of coaching experience, Coach Smith will play an instrumental part in the development of the Leopards' squad on and off the basketball court. She has coached several club teams and has served as a high school varsity head basketball coach in the Pasadena area as well as an assistant coach.   She is also the currently coaching with West Coast Elite.

In her spare time, Coach Smith loves working with young people. She loves watching her kids mature into better people for the future and excellent basketball players. She considers herself to be a gym-rat and a lover of all sports, but basketball is the one sport that captured her heart.

Coach Smith is a proud mother, and her son is a graduate of CSUN.

What Coach Smith has cannot be taught at a basketball clinic. Our athletes in our program will deeply benefit from her life lessons and basketball instruction.
