WINNECONNE, WI — Senior Melissa Cerrillos is set to make her first appearance at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships Saturday morning in Wisconsin.

Cerrillos, who becomes just the third runner in program history to qualify for the meet following Lenore Moreno (2012) and Andrea Ramirez (2014), looks to cap off her incredible senior season. The Claremont native earned her third straight All-Region honors and notched her second All-SCIAC performance.

Last weekend in Washington Cerrillos posted a ninth place finish, the highest for a Leopard since Moreno won the event in 2012.
