Jimenez named ACWPC All-America

PHILADELPHIA — Bryan Jimenez of the University of La Verne men's water polo team was named to the 2015 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Division III All-America Team.

This is Jimenez's second selection to the ACWPC All-America Team after earning the award last year. The senior led the Leopards in scoring with 49 goals, six of which came at the SCIAC Championship tournament. He scored 21 goals in SCIAC action.

Jimenez was also named to Second Team All-SCIAC at the conclusion of the season.

Comprised of 30 student‐athletes, the team features players from 12 institutions as Claremont‐Mudd‐ Scripps Colleges (five), Johns Hopkins University (four), Chapman University (three), University of Redlands (three), Whittier College (three), Pomona‐Pitzer Colleges (three), the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (two), California Lutheran University (two), Washington & Jefferson College (two), Connecticut College (one), University of La Verne (one) and Monmouth College (one) each garnered a minimum of one athlete on either the First, Second or Honorable Mention Division III All‐America lists.

John "Tanner" Cullen of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps was named the National Player of the Year and Ted Bresnahan of Johns Hopkins was named the Coach of the Year.
