WINSTON SALEM, NC — Jade Griffin will represent the University of La Verne at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships at the JDL Fast Track this weekend.
Griffin will compete in the 200m dash for the Leopards in the first NCAA Indoor Championships for which she has qualified. Griffin earned a spot at the 2019 NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships last season.
In the 200m prelims, Griffin will run in the fourth heat scheduled for 2:20 p.m. (PT). The top eight runners will advance to the finals scheduled for 1:20 p.m. (PT) on Saturday. Griffin recently earned All-West Region honors both the 200m and 400m.
The senior enters the meet as the ninth overall seed and the top runner in her event from the West Region with a time of 25.31.
