PASADENA — Alec Spencer of the University of La Verne men's golf team was named to Second Team All-SCIAC, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Spencer, a junior from San Diego, shot an average score of 76 in SCIAC rounds and won SCIAC No. 2, the first conference medal of his career. He placed 11th at SCIAC No. 1 and wrapped up the season with a 23rd place finish at the SCIAC Championships.

Addtionally, Spencer claimed the individual medal at the West Cup in March

This is Spencer's third All-SCIAC honor in as many years. He was named the Ken Sherman Newcomer of the Year as a freshman and was voted to First Team in each of the last two years.
