Sixteen minutes into the second half, the Kingsmen looked to take a 2-1 lead, after Cal Lutheran tapped the ball in after a Tristan Polakowski save, but the visitors were called for offsides to keep the score even. Four minutes later the Kingsmen threatened again with a three-on-one attack, but Jared Pischke's shot rolled wide of the net.
