The University of La Verne men's tennis team fell on the road in SCIAC action, dropping an 8-1 decision to the University of Redlands Saturday.
ULV (3-3, 2-2 SCIAC) managed its lone win in No. 5 singles from junior Adrian Laygo, who defeated Redlands' Ransom Cook.
Redlands captured all doubles contests and went on to capture five of the six singles matches. Senior Mario Backes extended UR's Aaron Ouyefor to three sets in No. 3 singles before falling 6-2, 3-6, 11-9.
The Leopards continue action March 5 when they visit Cal Poly Pomona at 2 p.m.
