Gary Rudin

Gary Rudin enters his 18th season at La Verne as an assistant track and field coach in charge of hurdlers and short sprinters. An alumnus of La Verne, Coach Rudin graduated in 1966 lettering in the javelin, 200 and 400 meter events.
He then went on to coach for several years at Pomona High, where his teams won three CIF championships. Rudin has coached numerous elite athletes, including Torrie Edwards and Jeanne Vickers, who have won Olympic gold medals in the sprints and hurdles.
