Sunny Marcum enters her first season with the Leopards in 2019.

Marcum is no stranger to the SCIAC, having served as the head coach for the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps' women's golf team from 2007-2012. During her final season with the Athenas, Marcum earned West Region Coach of the Year honors after leading the Athenas to the first ever SCIAC Championship in women's golf and an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. She recently served as the head girls golf coach at The Webb Schools during the fall of 2018.

In 2007 she was awarded the Randy Henry Award from Henry-Griffiths in recognition of achievement and proficiency in the area of club fitting and in 2004 was awarded the Professional Clubfitter Award from the Henry-Griffitts Custom Golf Club Company.

Marcum began her golf career in 1984 after a decade long career in volleyball that included stings with the Midopa Professional Team and the Korean National Team. Three years later she passed the Korean LPGA Qualifying School and played eight seasons finishing as high as seventh on the Korean LPGA money list.

Marcum currently works as a golf instructor at Performance Fitness for Athletes in Upland and she has served in similar roles at both Red Hill Country Club and the School of Golf at Empire Lakes.
