Fresno, CA - The University of La Verne men's basketball team competed on the road at Fresno Pacific University.
The Leopards found their groove at the start of the first half, leading 9-8 over the Sunbirds. Progressing through the half, the Sunbirds made a run to gain momentum in the game. The Leopards entered halftime down 45-23 against the DII Sunbirds.
At the start of the second half, the Leopard made runs but the Sunbirds countered each run. Although a low-scoring game, La Verne guards Brian Adams and Tavares James led the Leopards in scoring but they would fall to Fresno Pacific by a final score of 87-42.
