NEW ORLEANS –  Week 1 of the NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Track And Field Rating Index, as released on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) ranked the University of La Verne men's track and field team #17 in the country.

Yesterday, the Leopards were recognized with a regional ranking for their efforts on the track and field.

Head coach Kevin Reid appreciates the ranking but understands that there is more work to be done. "It's early in the season but it's definitely nice to be represented in the rankings. Work is not done, but we are looking to hold on to the spot and move on."

The Leopards are continuing their trek towards a 2023 SCIAC Championship.
