Senior goalkeeper Lauren Shepard was named to the 2013 All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference squad as a Second Team selection as announced by the league office on Friday.
The honor was Shepard's first All-Conference selection and was the lone Leopard player to earn a spot on the All-SCIAC team this season.
A product of La Serna High School, Shepard was an instrumental force in the cage for the Leopards and was among both the conference and Division III national leaders in saves during this season.
La Verne posted a total of 12 wins during the 2013 campaign.
