The University of La Verne men's golf program is one of the proudest and most successful programs at the University of La Verne. The team has advanced to 16 NCAA National Championships, twice finished as the national runners-up, crowned one individual NCAA National Champion, and won 10 SCIAC Championships. Additionally, the Leopards boast one Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year and 30 All-Americans.

The Leopards compete in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) one of the premier conferences for both men's and women's golf in all of NCAA Division III. The SCIAC regularly has several teams ranked in the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Division III Top-25 poll and routinely sends more than one team to the NCAA Championships. The men's golf program at the University of La Verne not only has a reputation as one of the best teams on campus in terms of athletic achievement but also in academic success.

The Leopards practice at several local golf courses including Meadow Mountains Golf Course in Pomona and Via Verde Country Club in San Dimas among others.
