LA VERNE- The University of La Verne men's water polo squad dropped a 15-7 decision to Redlands University Saturday. 

The Leopards kept things close over the first half of play, trailing 2-1 after the first quarter and 4-3 just two minutes before the halfway mark. But the Bulldog offense put the game out off reach with a 6-1 scoring advantage in the third.a

Tyler Hunt managed three goals to lead the La Verne attack while junior goalie Daniel Newell made 14 saves.

The Leopards will face Pomona-Pitzer next Saturday in their final league match of the season. Start time is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Las Flores Park.
