D3Baseball.com - Post season awards continue to roll in for the University of La Verne baseball team as La Verne had two players earn various honors on the national and regional levels. Leopards Brandon Shiota and Gerald Terry were voted to the end of season all american and all region teams. 

Outfielder Brandon Shiota, the 2022 SCIAC Athlete of the Year and First Team All-SCIAC selection was named a Second Team All American. Shiota was also named First Team All Region. He finished the season with a .412 hitting percentage in addition to fifty six runs scored, seventy-three hits, twenty three doubles, four triples, nine homers, sixty four RBI, and four stolen bases in addition to posting a .961 fielding percentage.

Pitcher Gerald Terry was named Third Team All Region. Terry had seventy seven strikeouts on the season, only giving up seventy seven hits and twenty seven runs.
