LA VERNE, Calif. — The University of La Verne women's basketball team, led by head coach Julie Shaw, will hold an Elite Camp in the Sports Science Athletic Pavilion on Sunday, August 3.

The session will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and is open to all girls entering 9th grade an up.

Attendees will receive instruction from college basketball coaches and players with a wealth of experience. Members of the La Verne coaching staff will be on site at all times.

Coaches will provide lessons and practice in the fundamentals, including: Ball handing, defensive principles, post and guard developement, college level full-court drills, offensive skill development and recruiting education.

The cost to attend is $30 by credit or $25 in cash.
