La Verne volleyball prospered during the 2000's, totaling eight consecutive SCIAC championships, five West Region titles and an NCAA Division III crown in 2001. 

Eight players who helped lead Leopard volleyball prominence on the national scene and dominance at the conference level comprise of the All-Decade Team.  The players include Ryan Winn, Amy Smith, Amy Kratochvil, Tricia Schary, Jennifer Stout, Jodi Lindsay, Brianna Gonzales and Crista Jones.

Winn earns the nod at the setter position, earning Volleyball Magazine Player of the Year honors after leading the Leopards to the NCAA title in 2001.  She was a two-time All West Region selection (2000, 2001) and was honored as SCIAC Player of the Year in 2001. 

Like Winn, Smith was a national player of the year honoree, earning AVCA Player of the Year accolades in 2003.  During that season, Smith led the Leopards in kills and was a First Team All-SCIAC selection.  She was a member of four SCIAC championship squads from 2000-2003.

Schary starred as a middle blocker during her two seasons with the Leopards, earning SCIAC Player of the Year honors in 2003 while earning All-America recognition in 2003 and 2004.  She led the conference in hitting percentage in 2003 en route to being named conference player  of the year and helped guide the Leos to consecutive NCAA Semifinal appearances.

Kratochvil was a three-time All-America selection (2002, 2003, 2004) and a two-time SCIAC Player of the Year honoree (2002, 2004).  She was a member of the Leopards' national title squad as a freshman and was named West Region Freshman of the Year.  She posted a decade-best 1300 kills during her career.  She was a Three-Time All West Region selection (2002, 2003, 2004).

Stout earns a spot on the All-Decade Team at libero.  Beginning her career at outside hitter, Stout was one of the most versatile players during the decade and earned an All-SCIAC selection in 2004.  She was a member of the 2001 NCAA title squad and was a part of four conference championship crowns (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004).

A two-time All-American, Lindsay lands a spot on the All-Decade squad as a rightside hitter.  Lindsay led the squad in hitting percentage in three difference seasons en route to earning All-America honors in 2006 and 2007.  She was a three-time First Team All-SCIAC selection (2005, 2006, 2007) and was a member of three All-West Region teams (2005, 2006, 2007).

Gonzales joins Kratochvil as a two-time SCIAC Player of the Year during the decade, earning the honor in both the 2007 and 2008 seasons.  Additionally she was a two-time First Team All-America and two-time All West Region honoree in leading La Verne to back-to-back undefeated seasons in conference play in 2007 and 2008.  In 2008, she helped lead La Verne to the NCAA title match.

Jones also was a two-time First Team All-America selection (2008, 2009) and earned SCIAC Player of the Year honors in 2009.  She was named to the All-West Region team in three of her seasons (2006, 2008, 2009).

Four of the All-Decade members earned SCIAC Player of the Year status.  The group includes Winn (2001), Kratochvil (2002, 2004), Gonzales (2007, 2008) and Jones (2009).

Both Winn (2007) and Smith (2009) were inducted into the Leopard Athletic Hall of Fame.
